This would be a 5 star if the dough was just a bit thinner. Very good!

If you're not from around the area and have been looking for a good pizza, this is definitely a place to check out. The pizza was a bit on the done side (which is a good thing in my book), wasn't overly loaded with cheese or sauce, and was full of fresh ingredients. The pie reminded me of what my family would usually get up home in PA. Service was very friendly. Take-out even came with free bread sticks (or a free 2-liter soda). I will definitely be coming back. Dine in seems like the better option for a crispier crust :)

DON'T EVER ORDER DELIVERY. Are you kidding me? I ordered my food over an hour and a half ago and it's still not here. I haven't even eaten the food yet and I'm so disappointed. I even called to see where the food was, and they put me on hold for over 5 minutes. Speedy? I think not.

We enjoy eating here whenever we are in town. Generous servings and friendly staff. I often get the Greek salad without chicken wish they had olives in the salad. I would love it if they had a few more vegetarian choices. The slices are big, one is enough for me with a side salad. The garlic knots are very good.

I had driven past the "Speedy Bistro" sign on my way home several times, yet I had no idea they were a pizzeria, let alone a NY style pizzeria that delivered to my house. I discovered this only after they left a menu on my front door. Right from the start, I really wanted to like Speedy Bistro. Since moving to FL, I have yet to find great pizza that comes to me, and it's certainly not for lack of looking. My first experience from Speedy seemed promising. Nice large slices, crisp flavorful crust, nicely seasoned sauce, and not too heavy on the cheese...while not mind-blowing, I liked the pizza enough to try again. My second pie from Speedy proved less than spectacular. This time, it was over-cheesed, under cooked, and was suffering from a severe case of crushed box syndrome. I don't know why pizzerias think they are doing me a favor by putting on lots of extras cheese...9 out of 10 times it's that cheap, salty trash that stretches the very definition of the word "cheese". Besides, If I wanted extra cheese, I would have ordered it that way. Anyhow, and here's the thing, after the box had thoughtfully removed some of the extra cheese, and the slices spent a few minutes on my pizza stone at 500 degrees, it really wasn't a bad slice of pie. Unfortunately, I can't review a slice of pizza based on it's potential, if treated correctly, once you get it home. While it maybe true that hidden underneath the excess cheese and the undercooked, limp crust, there is a decent slice of pizza, in a town so full of independent pizzerias there has got to be a better way than correcting someone else's mistakes after paying for them.

My fiancé and I were driving around for a place to eat. We were visiting from Minnesota and weren't sure what to eat. He'd been craving pizza and there it was! A sign that said "PIZZA" -- I actually think this is really funny, and am especially amused that it caused my fiancé to practically swerve to get to said PIZZA place. Our server was friendly, helpful, and polite. We loved our pizza! We didn't realize just how big these slices were. We'd go here again! Please note that they serve NY style pizza, so a single slice is plenty for one person.
